I have a professional DSL account with a static IP. Service was not great but bearable. Nightmare started a couple of weeks ago when I got a voice message alerting me to a support ticket asking if I still need that static IP. Off course, I do! So I updated the ticket. Long story short, I have been cut off from the Internet completely since then. I have two outstanding tickets with Primus, one for the static IP and one for the extended outage. No response from them at all.

I called them yesterday, requesting to cancel the service. My call was transferred to some solution department and was rudely put on hold for 10 minutes to listen to the music of the day at Primus. At end of the playlist, my call was terminated.

I became Primus customer some 15 years ago when they bought a fine Canadian local company called Magma Communications. I noticed service degradation with the new provider over the years but did not bother to move primarily because I do my own tech support and I have a backup connection to the Internet. But this time it is just too much!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Primus Canada Pros: Unlimited available internet.

Primus Canada Cons: Unstable internet, Customer service lies, Service is not reliable.
